This statistic left such an impression on me when I first heard it. I haven’t heard much out there about military plane emissions, and decided to dig a little further.

I researched famous military planes, and pulled their typical flight times & fuel consumption through various sources online. Afterwards, I made a Python script to calculate the emissions . I encourage others to duplicate the script, and add more planes.

Overall, the numbers are shocking, and leave more of an impression when realizing the extent of how often these planes are flown.

This was also a fun way to get more experience in graphic design, an area I’m learning I enjoy working in.
